I’m a writer and academic artist working across essays, editorial, and artistic research. I help clients and institutions translate complex ideas into language that’s vivid, accurate, and fundable. Currently I am based in Taipei, Taiwan.

The Formation and Transformation of the Berlin Techno Scene (ECSA Taiwan Award for Outstanding Thesis) · 2023
This thesis was written during my studies in European Studies and Tourism at National Taiwan Normal University. The research examines the relationship between music and space, subcultural practices, and how it has changed. Based on fieldwork conducted in Berlin, the study includes interviews with participants from the scene to explore how underground cultures develop within changing urban environments, tracing its transformation from an underground subculture into a globally recognized cultural and tourist phenomenon.

An essay on Germany's asparagus season (Spargelzeit) and its place within everyday culture. From seasonal markets to pop songs and culinary rituals, the text reflects on how food practices shape collective memory and cultural identity in Germany.
This essay reflects on electronic music as a cultural and political force. Tracing historical moments from the Cold War to the emergence of techno culture and events such as Love Parade, the text explores how electronic music has functioned not only as entertainment but also as a space for collective expression, identity formation, and political imagination.
This essay reflects on youth culture and nightlife in Taipei through personal encounters in clubs, music scenes, and late-night urban spaces. Moving between intimate narrative and cultural observation, the text explores how identity, urban aspiration, and pop culture shape the experiences of young people in contemporary Taiwan.
